Whitsunday
Situated 20° 4'S and 148° 5'E the Whitsunday is on the same latitude as Rio de Janeiro, Mauritius and Tahiti. The climate is tropical with an average daily temperature of 27°C. January is the warmest month averaging 30°C and July the coolest month averaging 23°C. The wet season is from December to March. The water temperature remains a pleasant 23 - 27°C, the average year round water temperature being an enticing 24°C.
