Opposite the shores of Thessalia you will find the Northern Sporades, picturesque Aegean islands, to which many vacationers gather every year. Weather
The prevailing wind in the summer is the Meltemi blowing
from the NE. The Meltemi begins fitfully in June, blows
strongest in July and August, and dies at the end of September
and October. In July and August it can reach Force 4-6.
In the spring and autumn the wind is again predominantly
from the north but not as strong.
