Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands, is also the most popular. Its beaches, sunny weather and dazzling seaside scenery are the main attractions, though it retains a bit more of its traditional flavor than the Costa del Sol, another package-tour haven.The coves of the Balearic Islands are fascinatingly beautiful, but they also hide great dangers.
Palma de Mallorca is the largest and most cosmopolitan city in the Balearics and a most charming seafront city to boot. Its best attractions are an impressive Gothic cathedral, the Old City, Bellver Castle, the Convent of St. Francis and Palacio Vivot.

Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI)
Mallorca’s airport is situated five miles (8km) east of Palma. There are several buses that connect the airport to Palma and other major towns and resorts on the island. Buses leave from outside Arrivals.
