Yacht Charter Seychelles
Mahe, Praslin, La Digue, Silhouette, Curieuse, Amirantes.

The Seychelles are located about 600 miles from the east coast of Africa. These islands and islets are scattered across the Indian Ocean. The cruising area is restricted to the inner islands ( the Amirantes possible upon request only). It includes the four main islands of Mahé, Praslin, Silhouette, La Digue and two dozen of smaller islands.
The cruising area is an unspoilt paradise... pure heaven. The beauty of the islands will leave you breathless. Seychelles offer all the types of yacht charter such as bareboat charter, skippered, crewed yacht charter, catamaran, sailboat, motoryacht and luxury yachts charter.

The Seychelles were inhabited only 250 years ago and have been protected from man’s contamination. From your yacht, you have a rare opportunity to experience what the XVIII th century seamen felt as they approached this untouched paradise. Swim among multicoloured fish in transparent waters, or visit a turtle reserve. The Seychelles offer more natural sanctuaries and maritime parks than anywhere else in the world as half the land mass is protected.

Digue Island
Famous all over the world due to its famous rounded granite lodes, the Digue is also attractive because of its peaceful insular atmosphere. Do not hesitate to be charmed by a walk in one of the most beautiful beaches of the world: Anse Source d'Argent... a magical moment!

Silhouette
Lying 20 km off the northwest coast of Mahe, Silhouette is the third largest island in the archipelago. Small settlements connected by tracks link residents who work to produce copra, cinnamon, sugar cane and other crops. While its beaches are perfect for swimming and snorkelling it is easy to get lost walking through these wild and primitive forests.

Curieuse
Named after the ship whose captain discovered the island in 1768 Curieuse is less than a mile north of Praslin. Today covered in lush vegetation and huge takamaka trees, it once was covered with coco-de-mer palms. In an attempt to harvest them the island was set afire in 1771 and virtually all were destroyed. As a National Park it is home to common land birds and some seabirds. There is a program in place to breed giant tortoises here for reintroduction to the granitic islands.

Amirantes
The Amirantes Islands are the closest Outer Group Islands to Mahé, between 125 and 210 miles.. Spread over a distance of 100 miles they are part of the submarine ridge extending from Mahe south to Mauritius and Reunion. Named after Admiral Vasco da Gama, the "Ilhas do Almirante" (Admiral Islands) were discovered in 1502 on a voyage to find alternative routes to the Spice Islands.
To sail the Amirante Islands you will need a minimum of two weeks.
