Yacht Charter in Guadeloupe
Les Saintes, Marie Galante, Desirade, St Martin

Guadeloupe and its archipelago is the perfect sailing choice for those looking for exhilarating short passages in sight of land or longer more challenging stretches.
There are many wonderful options for yachting the beautiful offshore waters of Guadeloupe and visiting the fascinating islands of La Désirade, Marie Galante and the islands of Iles des Saintes . Sailboat and yacht rentals, crewed or bareboat, are easily arranged. Sailing north of Guadeloupe can include the more challenging sailing around the islands of Antigua, Nevis and St. Kitts.
Guadeloupe offer all the types of yacht charter such as bareboat charter, skippered, crewed yacht charter, catamaran, sailboat, motoryacht and luxury yachts charter.

Yacht charter in the Guadeloupe
Guadeloupe is made up of two islands connected by a bridge. To the east lies Grande-Terre, famous for its white sand beaches, rolling hills, and resort areas. To the west lies Basse-Terre, Basse-Terre has a very different landscape with its renowned waterfalls, mountains, rain forest, and world-class diving.
The main marina is at Bas du Fort with more than 1000 berths. Located 10 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from Pointe-à-Pitre, it accommodates all types of boats up to 130 ft. It is a full service marina with a travel lift and other amenities that include weather service information, shower facilities, fuel, water, electric hookup, ship chandlery, maintenance area, supermarkets, bars and restaurants.

Les Saintes
This cluster of eight islands, two main islands and six rocks, is off the beaten path. Terre-de-Haute is actually the main attraction and the most interesting. The main settlement is Le Bourge, a single street that follows the curve of the harbor. The underwater world of Les Saintes has been the host to famous divers such as Jacques Cousteau. The least qualified diver can experience the beauty of the multicolored reefs and the captivating underwater grottos. Pigeon Island is the home of the Jacques Cousteau’s marine sanctuary, and a must see for the dive enthusiast.

Marie Galante
Located approximately 20 NM from Guadeloupe, this popular destination is known for its idyllic bays and unspoiled beaches. It is a simple place with rural traditions. There are many hiking trails in which to explore the beautiful views and history of the island. There is also excellent snorkeling and scuba diving along the barrier reef.

La Désirade
The north side of the island has a rocky coastline with rough open seas, but the southern side is more inviting with white sandy beaches and reef protected waters. Le Souffleur is a boat-building community, and at Baie Mahault, you'll see the ruins of the old leper colony. The best beaches are Souffleur, a tranquil oasis near the boat-building center, and Baie Mahault, a small typical Caribbean beach with white sand and palm trees.

Bareboat Exp. Level
From 1 - easy to 5 - very experienced: 4. We could provide a skipper service for your first day's sail from our base to familiarise the crew with the boat. The winds and currents of Guadeloupe tend to be strong. During the summer months, winds prevail at 10/20 knots from the northeast. The winter will see 15/20 knots generally from the east. The trade winds are consistent and make sailing anytime of the year a pleasure. The offshore islands, Marie-Galante and Les Saintes, offer safe anchorages and make for delightful trips.

Diving in Guadeloupe
For diving enthusiasts, highlights will include the Cousteau Underwater Park and the reefs between Pain de Sucre Beach and Le Bois Joli, off the Iles des Saintes.
